Privacy policy
NextGen Cable is a free app for Android phones and TVs, made by Bulk Bazaar Inc. This page explains what we collect and why. Last updated 11 October 2026 (website visit counts now include time on each page, links clicked and where visits come from).
What we collect
To use NextGen Cable you sign in with an email and password account you make in the app, or with your Google account. When you do, we keep:
- your name and email address (the ones you typed, or from your Google account),
- your password, stored scrambled by Google Firebase: nobody, not even us, can read it. If you forget it, we can set a new one for you,
- your package (Free or Gold) and when it ends, if you buy one,
- if you give them to us (in the app's 💳 My billing details, or by message, email, text or WhatsApp): your phone and WhatsApp number, the package and plan length you chose, how you pay (for example Interac e-Transfer, card or cash; never card numbers or bank details) and when your next payment is due,
- when you first signed in, when you last opened the app and when it was last in use (the owner sees this as a "last seen" time),
- the app version, the type of device (TV or phone) and its model,
- a random device code made by the app, so an account can be used on one device at a time (two while your package allows it),
- which channels you watch and for how many minutes each day (from version 1.8.88), linked to your account, so we can see what viewers like most and help you with your account (the owner can see each viewer's channels and minutes),
- which parts of the app you use (each mode, full screen, Movies & Dramas, Games) and for how long each day, and the channel on your screen when the app last reported (from version 1.10.5), so we can improve the features people use most,
- how many times each sponsor's ad was shown on your device each day (from version 1.8.90), so we can tell sponsors how often their ad was seen (only totals; sponsors never see who you are),
- anything you post in Suggestions, with your name and the time, and your private messages with the NextGen Cable team.
Crash reports. If NextGen Cable or one of our other apps (Live TV Max, AppHub, Iqra Quran, Live Cam, Multi Chat) closes because of an error, freezes, or is closed by Android because the device ran low on memory, the app sends us a crash report the next time it opens, so we can fix it. It contains only the technical error or the reason it closed, the app and its version, how much memory it was using, the time, the device model and the Android version: no name, email, account or what you were watching. Only the owner can read them.
On this website
When you visit tv.bulkbazaar.ca, your browser gets a random, anonymous ID (no name or email). Each day we count which pages it opened and how long it spent on each page and each part of a page (only while the page is on screen and in use), which links and download buttons it clicked, the name of the site that sent it here (for example Google or WhatsApp, not the full address), the hour of the day by your own clock, your browser's time zone (for example Toronto), whether it was a computer, phone or TV, the day it first visited, and which channels and programmes it watched here and for how many minutes. We don't record your IP address, location, name, email or anything you type. Only the site owner can see these totals, and we use them only to learn which parts of the website people find useful. We don't use advertising trackers or share this with anyone.
If you post an ad in our Marketplace (tv.bulkbazaar.ca/sell), everyone can see the ad: its photos, title, price, description, the name you show and your city. Your account (email) is never shown. Messages between a buyer and a seller (tv.bulkbazaar.ca/chats) can only be read by those two people. If someone reports an ad, we see the report and the ad, and we may delete ads or block accounts that break the Marketplace rules. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly; NextGen Cable is not part of any sale. You can edit or delete your ads at any time, and ads come down by themselves after 30 days.
We don't collect your contacts or location. The weather and prayer times use a city you type in Settings, or, if you allow it, your device's approximate location, or else your approximate location from your internet address. The location stays on your device; only the map position is sent to the free weather and prayer-time services to look them up, and it isn't stored.
Voice search uses your TV remote's microphone only while the voice search window is open, and only if you allow it. Your TV's own speech service (from Google) turns what you say into text; NextGen Cable keeps only the words, to find the channel, and doesn't record or store your voice.
Why
- To know how many people use NextGen Cable, on which devices, and which channels are watched most, so we can improve it.
- To keep each free account to one device at a time.
- To let app users post and reply in Suggestions, under their name.
- To keep track of your package and payments, and to contact you about them by in-app message, email, text message or WhatsApp. We don't use your phone number for anything else and never send advertising to it.
Who can see it
Only the NextGen Cable team can see the user list, billing details, phone numbers and viewing totals. Your name and posts in Suggestions are visible to other NextGen Cable users. Private messages are seen only by you and the NextGen Cable team. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
The data is stored with Google Firebase (Google LLC), which handles sign-in and storage for us. See Firebase's privacy information.
Removing your data
You can sign out at any time in the app's Settings. To have your account and posts deleted, contact us through www.bulkbazaar.ca from the email address you signed in with, and we'll remove them.
Accounts not used for a while. If you don't use NextGen Cable for a week, we may send you a friendly in-app message (and sometimes an email or WhatsApp message) inviting you back, about once a week. If an account isn't used for 2 months, we send a final notice with a date and may then close it. When an account is closed or deleted, everything above is removed except your email address and name, which we keep to send you occasional NextGen Cable offers. Every offer tells you how to stop them, and you can ask us at any time (through www.bulkbazaar.ca, or by replying to any offer) to remove your email completely.
Children
NextGen Cable isn't meant for children under 13 to sign in to on their own. A parent should sign in for them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
